Maru Karate Kai is headed by Marc Grayston-kyoshi and has classes in the Basildon area of Essex. He has been teaching for eleven years and training in karate for twenty-three.

Classes are held on a Monday at Fairhouse Infants School at 7pm-8pm and, on a Friday at Whitmore Way Junior School at 7pm-8pm and on a Saturday morning at Luncies Road Meeting Hall at 10am-11am.

Maru Karate Kai is governed by the UK governing body for Shindo-Ryu Karate-Do. Zen Eikoku Shindo-Ryu Karate-Do Renmei and all students are members of Kodo Butoku Renmei, which is a worldwide martial arts organisation. More information can be found by clicking on the relevant links.
